Zoomer’s Wes Tyrell takes on Macleans

A few weeks ago I wrote a Rebuttal to an article I read in Macleans Magazine that really made my blood boil. It was titled, Old. Rich. Spoiled. If they were trying for the controversial, they succeeded. Inside the back cover of the November Zoomer magazine is another rebuttal by political cartoonist, Prophet of Zoom, Wes Tyrell. He takes 3 of Maclean’s “claims” and responds to them with “facts” and then has a great cartoon in the bottom half of the page. It’s priceless. It totally decries the foolish premise in the original article by accurately calling it “baloney”.

Way to go Wes!!  I’ve been a senior for only a few months and already the government wants to take my money back and use it to help young folks in their 20s and 30s buy a house.  I’m still paying off my own mortgage!  Hey seniors out there — let’s hear from you.  And don’t forget to pick up a copy of the November Zoomer in digital or hard copy!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
