Easter Music

I first encountered Leonard Cohen‘s Hallelujah during an episode of West Wing. It was recorded by Jeff Buckley and was very haunting. This past Wednesday, the same music with different words was used at an Easter event I attended and the words are beautiful. Words written by Kelley Mooney of East Royalty, P.E.I., she recorded it in Memramcook, New Brunswick with the Chorale Voce dell’ Anima led by Monette Gould and explains how it all came about.  I think you’ll really love it!  Happy Easter!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
