Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Follow Me is an Internet thriller by Angela Clarke which will make you think twice about what you do online. The ebook is set to be published Dec. 3rd/15 and the paperback at the end of the month. Here’s my excerpt:
Something shifted inside of Freddie: she’d always been cynical, but now she felt out and out paranoid. What was real and what was phoney? Just who could you trust?
Would you keep reading?
There’s another meme hosted by Bibliophile By the Sea which asks for First Chapter, First Paragraph, so here goes — from the same book:
From where she stood in the doorway of the bedroom of 39 Blackbird Road, London, E14, Freddie could see the blood. A lot of blood. The plastic overall she was wearing rustled in time with her clipped, panicked breaths. The blue walls were splattered with red, as if a food fight had taken place with thin, runny Lidl ketchup. But it wasn’t tomato sauce. She could taste it: metallic. It was coating her tongue. Sweat stuck clumps of her thick frizzy hair to her forehead, loosened her glasses on her nose, and opened her pores to the gore. She was absorbing it.
Sometimes, 2 or 3 sentences isn’t enough! Hope you enjoyed my teaser and intro. Now — share yours!
I love both the teaser and first paragraph, and the topic of the dangers of the internet is intriguing. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog!

Yes. Almost too vivid. Our poor protagonist was exposed to that and much more with the grace to be close to throwing up several times. A very suspenseful read. Thanks for leaving a comment.
