PersecutionOfMildredDunlapPaulette Mahurin is an author/blogger who lives in California. She has penned a number of books and while I haven’t as yet read them all, I have read two that just blew me away. She does extensive research for her historical fiction novels and makes them come alive. The proceeds from her books help dogs to come alive. She is a generous, caring person who helps to rescue dogs from a kill shelter in her area and this reblog shows you just some of the many dogs who have been rescued this year. to-live-out-loud-front-promo-copyPlease read my Sunday reblog and then choose a book to purchase because doing so will not only help rescue dogs but you will enjoy reading them immensely.  I highly recommend The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap as well as To Live Out Loud!  Enjoy!

The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap

Thank you to all who have purchased one of my books and taken the time to write a review. All profits from my books go to help dogs like these. Current count for 2015 is 123 dogs rescued from kills shelters. It’s definitely going to be a very happy new year for a lot of families. I’m so grateful for anyone who’s helped with this effort in any way.

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
