Friday Finds #2

FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).  It is hosted by Jenn at A Daily Rhythm.

Since I’m trying not to buy any new books until my TBR list is somewhat depleted, only a few of these are new books I’ve bought recently, others are in a cart somewhere online waiting or are added to my wish list, and several are waiting on my ipad to be read.  Some of these I’ve read about in Teaser Tuesday blogs and knew right away they would appeal to me.  Teaser Tuesday is also hosted by Jenn at A Daily Rhythm.  I hope you see something you like.

Girl in Hyacinth Blue by Susan Vreeland

The Alchemist’s Daughter by Mary Lawrence

Abraham, One Nomad’s Amazing Journey of Faith by Charles R. Swindoll

The Butterfly Enigma by Lorraine Campbell

Docherty by William McIlvanney

The Triple Agent by Joby Warrick

The Bridle Path by Julia Hughes

Promised Soul by Sandra J. Jackson

Share your recent finds.  Go to A Daily Rhythm and leave a comment with a link to your list.

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.

Oh, so glad to see ‘Docherty’ on there! I really hope you enjoy it – McIlvanney has become one of my favourite authors in the last couple of years and I’m enjoying working through his back catalogue… 😀
