On My Bookshelf: Sept. 23/16

I’m back!  I’ve taken a rather longer than expected hiatus from doing my blog but am now energized and back into the fray.  Here are some of the books waiting on my bookshelf:

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

a puzzler that follows the main characters through various times and across continents to help Nell find out who she really was.

Seashell Season by Holly Chamberlin

a mother’s summer journey to try to reconnect with her estranged daughter

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks

— a young widow seeks a new life with her great dane, Singer, as her Guardian

A Taste of Faith by Kelly Long

— an Amish healer finds romance

Love Arrives in Pieces by Betsy St. Amant

— a former beauty pageant queen tries to rebuild her life after divorce

The Rivers Run Dry by Sibella Giorelloa Raleigh Harmon Novel

— geologist and FBI special agent Raleigh Harmon tries to recover a missing hiker as she relocates in Seattle, Washington

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
