Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I had read several reviews for Preschooled that made me want to purchase it and move it to the top of my reading list. Read till three in the morning to finish it. See what you think from my teaser:
Justine couldn’t say whether her body or her mind reacted first to the familiar voice behind her. She was pretty sure, however, that it would be bad form to sock a dad in the stomach at new-family orientation, even if she had been harboring the desire to do so for the last eight years.
There were so many great lines in this book, it was really difficult to choose. Hope you like what I picked. Now share your teaser!
I wonder why she had that reaction. My teaser this week comes from Dead Ice by Laurell K. Hamilton. Happy reading!

My granddaughter is a preschooler, so the book’s title appeals to me. Your Teaser definitely made me wonder where all that anger is coming from!

OK. Well, this is mostly about the adults and you don’t want to take it too much to heart. It’s really funny, though.

It sounds like there is a lot of internal conflict brewing in this teaser; it’s fantastic nonetheless! Thanks for sharing 🙂

The characters in this story are really fascinating and so true-to-life. You’ll probably recognize people you know in this novel. I couldn’t put it down until I was finished it.
